When checking for National Intelligence Service (NIS), the Hellenic Police Special Violent Crimes Authority (DAEEB) and the Hellenic Police Information Management and Analysis Authority (DIDAP), the Communications Privacy Authority (ADAE), as stated by the Independent Body itself in the relevant press release it issued. In fact, the inspections will begin in the near future, and the decision to conduct them was made unanimously by the ADAE Plenum.

Specifically, the relevant ADAE press release reads as follows: “The Messaging Privacy Authority (ADAE) Plenum unanimously decided today, August 29, 2022, to conduct inspections as soon as possible, in the following services: National Intelligence Service (EYP), Office for Special Violent Crimes of the Hellenic Police (DAEEB) and the Directorate of Information Management and Analysis of the Hellenic Police (DIDAP)”.
