The Russians fired several missiles at the city of Mykolaiv, and the Ukrainians are trying to counterattack on Kherson. So far, at least two people have died and 24 people have been injured, the head of the Regional State Administration Vitaliy Kim said, quoted by Unian.
Russia fired 12 rockets into the city, killing at least 2 people. The attacks in Mykolaiv are taking place at a time when Ukraine is launching a counteroffensive against the Russian-occupied Kherson region.
“Residential buildings and educational institutions were attacked,” the city’s mayor, Oleksandr Senkevich, said in Telegram, adding that rescue teams were working on the spot.
