An unconscious man, about 50 years old, who fell into the sea on Monday morning along with the car he was driving, was pulled out of the port of Argostoli.
According to ERT, the car was moving without slowing down at the port where the Lixouri ferries dock, causing it to fall into the sea.
Neighbors jumped into the water to help him, and divers also rushed to the scene and pulled the unconscious driver out.
The coast guard, fire brigade and EKAV were immediately mobilized and took the driver to the hospital.
