The alleged perpetrator of the double murder of an aunt and nephew on the island of Aegina in 2015 was arrested in Malta.
The double murder caused a pan-Greek shock as a man robbed, tortured and burned a 70-year-old woman and her nephew alive.
According to Greek police sources, he is a 36-year-old man for whom an international arrest warrant has been issued by Greece and who was arrested by the Maltese authorities on 19 August.
Now there are procedures for his extradition in our country.
It is alleged that the 36-year-old man was the perpetrator who broke into the house of the 70-year-old man.
He then beat the woman and her nephew, robbed them and burned them alive, taking about 800,000 euros.
