The number of confirmed cases has reached 54. monkeypox in our country, according to EODY weekly update.
All patients were male and their mean age was 36 years (19 to 59 years). Of these, 18 reported traveling abroad during the incubation period of the disease (33%).
There were 50 cases of monkeypox in Greece last week (+4 for the week).
The time distribution of laboratory-confirmed cases by week of onset of symptoms (ISO week) is shown in the graph below.
It is noted that reported laboratory-confirmed cases have already recovered or are recovering in generally good clinical condition.
