The progress of the security plans on the part of the university, the implementation of the measures provided for by the relevant laws, and the start of the work of the university police were the subject of a meeting held today by the head of the Greek police, Lieutenant General. According to the EL.AS headquarters, during the meeting, a detailed discussion took place on the implementation of the security plans for universities, provided for by Laws 4777/21 and 4957/22.

It is noted that in order to start implementing security measures in universities and the work of OPTI (University Institutional Protection Teams), each university must submit security plans that will detail the measures that are considered necessary for each institution individually. , something but that has not been completed so far.
