
The Political Action Committee (PAC) donated $650,000 to the Smithsonian Institution, most of which went towards portraits of Donald and Melania Trump (pictured). The paintings will eventually be moved to the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., where all other recent presidential portraits currently reside. This is the first time that a portrait of a former president has been sponsored by a political organization.

Watkin was Artistic Director of the Semperoper Dresden for 16 years and although she is not a star of Rojo’s caliber as a dancer, she has had a solid and remarkable career so far.
