Last week Mr. Mark Zuckerberg launched in Spain as well as France in “Worlds on the Horizon” application, i.e. virtual reality in the context of the Metaverse.
To celebrate this expansion of the project, the CEO of the company “take” a selfie through the application against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower.

The truth is that this particular selfie isn’t quite what we expect from such an expensive tech project, something many social media users haven’t ignored.
Thus, the mentioned image of Zuckerberg did not take long to become a meme, but also to receive many critical comments, with Kevin Roos from the New York Times to characteristically note that the graphics “This is worse than the 2008 Wii game” while others didn’t “miss” that Zuckerberg looks completely lifeless and childish in his avatar.

In turn, the CEO of Metaverse was quick to respond to all of these reactions. So download one new selfies in facebook as well as Instagram, writes: “Big changes to Horizon and the avatar graphics are coming very soon. I’ll say more on Connect. Also, I know the photo I uploaded the other day is pretty simple – it was taken very quickly to celebrate the launch. The graphics in Horizon are much better – even on headsets – and Horizon is improving very quickly.”
Connect, which Zuckerberg spoke about, is his company’s annual conference, which was last held in October last year. It remains to be seen if the boss of the Metaverse will again spread… waves of shrinking in the real world as well.
