From August 22 to 25, the Russian command will close the airspace in certain areas of the Lypetsk, Voronezh, and Belgorod regions, the General Staff of Ukraine reported. All three Russian regions are close to the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, Kyiv Independent reports.
Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the president, said that the Russian Federation will try to increase the number of terrorist attacks on Independence Day on August 23-24.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyi warned that next week (August 22-28) the Russian Federation may try to do something “particularly cruel” against Ukraine.
“We must realize that this week Russia may try to do something particularly nasty and something particularly cruel. This is our enemy. But on any other week during these six months, Russia was constantly doing the same thing — despicable and cruel,” the president said.
