
Your audience Mixed jury trial 12 defendants are on trial for the assault that took the life of 19-year-old Alkis Campanos, according to the will of the Thessaloniki Criminal Court.
Having accepted the proposal of the prosecutor, the defendants are directed to the following actions:
- Defendants for manslaughter committed (in the case of Alkis) and attempt (in the case of the first victim), jointly,
- one of them for the attempted murder of the second injured young man, and the remaining 11 as mere accomplices of a specific act,
- all for assault and possession of objects capable of causing bodily harm, with the aggravated provisions of the Sports Act, and for the illegal possession and use of weapons.
At the same time, as indicated in the prosecutor’s submission, the Misdemeanor Board also decided to extend the detention of 12 defendants for another 6 months, since six months of their temporary detention expired in early August.
