
Bianca Gelber won the gold medal in the hammer throw final at the European Athletics Championships in Munich.
Bianca’s best throw was 72.72 meters in her final attempt after starting with 72.22, and in qualifying she managed 71.27 meters, which put her first in Group B.
Sportswomen Eva Rozanska (Poland, 72.12) and Sara Fantini (Italy, 71.58) also climbed the podium, writes News.ro.
Also during Wednesday’s evening session, Rezvan Grecu ended his career by missing the first jump in the triple jump final.
In addition, Alin Firfirice managed to qualify for the final in the discus throw (64.17 meters), as did Andrea Talos in the triple jump with a personal best of the season (14.00 meters).
