Western countries do not believe in Kyiv’s victory and often take a wait-and-see position, not providing effective assistance to Ukraine, said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Dmytro Gordon, TASS reports, Rador reports.
“Foreign ministers often ask me in interviews and conversations: ‘How much longer can you hold out?’, and I answer them all: ‘Your optics are fundamentally wrong. It seems that instead of asking: “What else needs to be done to win in the shortest possible time?”, you are all waiting for us to collapse and the problem will disappear by itself,” said the Ukrainian diplomat.
According to Kuleba, those with whom he communicates react painfully to such an answer. “But it’s true,” the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasized.
