
Police authorities at airports detained 22 foreigners (19 men and 3 women) on charges of forging IDs between 8 and 14 August. Chania and Heraklion.
In particular, during the checks carried out by the police departments of the two airports, the detainees presented fake travel documents issued by the French, Italian, German and Spanish authorities to leave the country for Italy, Germany, France and Belgium. .
The fake documents were confiscated.
