The Black Sea Fleet continues to use long-range cruise missiles to support land offensive operations, but is currently struggling to exercise effective control at sea, according to the latest report from the UK Ministry of Defence.

The Russian Navy lost its flagship MOSCOW, a significant portion of its naval aircraft fighters, and control of Snake Island.

The Black Sea Fleet’s limited effectiveness undermines Russia’s overall strategy, in part because the amphibious threat to Odesa is now largely neutralized.

This means Ukraine can redirect resources to deploy Russian ground forces elsewhere, the British report said.
