
An 8-year-old girl was found unconscious in a car in a gypsy camp. Chalandri.
According to police sources, the mother states in her statement that she did not realize the 8-year-old girl was missing because she was cooking and when she went out at noon to call her for food, she was nowhere to be found.
Immediately, the parents and other residents of the camp began to look for the girl, and after a long time, someone saw her unconscious in the passenger seat of a car that was just a few meters from the house.
The car, according to them, belonged to the girl’s grandfather and was abandoned for many years, and it did not even have door handles.
When they found the 8-year-old girl, the doors could not be opened from the outside, so they broke the glass and quickly took her to the Central State Hospital. G. Gennimatas, where she was pronounced dead.
Doctors assessed that death was caused by heat stroke, and an autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact causes.
The case was investigated by the Chalandri security department, from where a case was initiated against the parents, with whom they were taken to the prosecutor’s office today.
