By day, a 33-year-old man from Anogia, who allegedly rape a young woman early in the morning from Saturday to Sunday, when she herself was drunk.
According to information from ERT Chania, the alleged assailant abandoned the 32-year-old woman at 4:00 am Sunday near the Anogeia Medical Center.
There, doctors discovered sexual acts against her and reported it to the authorities. The victim of the attack, a resident of Heraklion, was taken to the Venizelio hospital, where she was given first aid, given medication and examined by a medical examiner, who confirmed that the woman was a victim of rape.
A 32-year-old woman told police that she met two men – a 33-year-old alleged perpetrator and his 45-year-old friend – in company during a festival event in the area.
As she complained, two men got her drunk to make her weak to fight back, resulting in her being raped by a 33-year-old man.
