
Danish director Lars von Trier, 66, suffers from Parkinson’s disease, Zentropa, the film company he founded back in the early 1990s, said today.
According to the same announcement, the 66-year-old actor is “in good spirits and being treated for symptoms” as he continues to work on the new – third and final – cycle of Kingdom (Riget in Danish), which is expected to air in end of this year.
Lars von Trier’s latest feature film was The House That Jack Built in 2018.
