As part of the construction work at the station “DIKASTIRIA” of the new line 4 of the Athens metro, section A’: Grove Veikou – Goudi, preliminary work has already begun to carry out work to relocate critical networks. Public benefit organizations (PBOs) that pass through the open tunnel of the specified station (Medium and low voltage DEDDIE, EYDAP, OTE).

For this reason, it is necessary to introduce temporary traffic rules in the area of ​​the construction site, which are planned to be implemented from the morning of Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

It is noted that during the preparation of studies on temporary traffic patterns, special attention was paid to minimizing the inevitable inconvenience that will be created over a wider area, by keeping roads as open as possible and at the same time ensuring supply. shops, loading and unloading of vehicles, controlled parking, OASA-TAXI stops and services for permanent residents of the area during their implementation.

For public information, the implementation of the Interim Rules of the Road to move the OKO networks to the location of the JUDICIAL STATION Project will take place in 7 overlapping phases as outlined below, with phase 1 starting on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at a total estimated the duration of the whole and the completion of the work is about 4 months.

Analytically,

Stage 1: At this stage, the right lane of Mustoksidi Street from Evelpidon Street to Busgu Street towards Alexandras Avenue will be occupied for carrying out the relocation of the DEDDI medium voltage network and the movement of both vehicles and vehicles. OAS routes. Duration 3 weeks.

Stage 2: At this stage, the left lane (45 meters) of Mustoksydi Street near the intersection with Busgou Street is occupied, and the movement of both vehicles and OASA routes is not affected. Duration 1 week.

Stage 3: At this stage, the right lane (50 meters) of Valtinon Street near the intersection with Mustoksydi Street, the traffic flow of Mustoksydi Street in the direction of Evelpidon Street, from the height of Valtinon Street to Evelpidon Street and the right lane (45 meters) of Evelpidon Street at the intersection with the street Moustoxidis in the direction of Poligono. During the implementation of a specific stage of the traffic rules, the movement of passing vehicles and public transport along Mustoksidi Street in the direction of Evelpidon Street is interrupted and redirected to the oncoming traffic flow in the direction of Alexandras Street, which is now served by both directions of Mustoksidis Street, one lane in each direction. During the traffic rules at a specific stage, work will be carried out to relocate the EYDAP water supply network. Duration 8 weeks.

Stage 4: At this stage, part of the right lane (50 meters) of Evelpidon Street between st. Mantica and Paxos are in traffic towards 28th October Street and both vehicle traffic and OASA routes are not affected. Duration 3-5 days.

Stage 5: At this stage, part of the left lanes (45 meters) is occupied in both streams of Evelpidon Street at the intersection with Mustoksidi Street, and the movement of both vehicles and OASA routes is not affected. Duration 3-5 days.

Stage 6: At this stage, part of the right lanes is occupied in both streams of Evelpidon Street between Argostoliou and Chr. Mantika in the direction of October 28 and between Moustoxidis and Chr. Mantica towards Poligono and traffic of both vehicles and OASA routes are not affected. Duration 3-5 days.

Stage 7: At this stage, part of the left traffic lanes is occupied in both streams of Evelpidon Street between Argostoliou and Chr. Mantika in the direction of October 28 and between Moustoxidis and Chr. Mantica towards Poligono and traffic of both vehicles and OASA routes are not affected. Duration 1 week.

Throughout the work, Attiko Metro SA and the crews of the contracting company ERETVO SA will be at the disposal of residents and adjacent businesses to serve them.
