
Prominent astrophysicist and honorary director of the Eugenides Planetarium Dionisis Simopoulos has died at the age of 79.
A few months ago, during an interview for ERT’s First Programme, he spoke about his battle with cancer.
“Pancreatic cancer is very difficult. When the doctors told me about it, I thought I had 2-3 months left to live, at the most.
