Fans of Hublot are well aware of the Swiss brand’s particular love for summer and its habit of presenting collector’s editions each year dedicated to the world’s most popular Mediterranean summer destinations: Ibiza, Capri, Saint Tropez and, of course, Mykonos, the ideal holiday island for the international elite. The world premiere of the new UBLOT Classic Fusion Chronograph Mykonos Boutique – Limited Edition 2022 took place on July 27 at a bright event on the island of the winds. The Swiss company, in collaboration with jewelers Gofas, has been creating collector’s editions for Mykonos since 2012, dedicated to the incomparable beauty of the Aegean Sea, the endless blue and the beaches embroidered with gold islands. The watch has a 45 mm case in polished and brushed high-tech ceramic, an extremely durable material that does not scratch. Its beige color is clearly inspired by the golden sands of Mykonos, while the screw-down bezel, dial and leather strap are in the deep blue of the Aegean.
Hublot fans will surely recognize the special detail that always characterizes all Mykonos collector’s editions: we mean the small second hand at 3, shaped like a windmill blade, which is also the emblem of Mykonos.
Inside is an automatic HUB1143 chronograph movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch wraps around the wrist with a hybrid blue rubber and alligator leather strap and fastens with an 18k gold buckle.
The UBLOT Classic Fusion Chronograph Mykonos Boutique – Limited Edition 2022 watch is limited to 50 numbered pieces. Available exclusively at Hublot boutiques in Mykonos and Athens.
