
70-year-old truck driver, the culprit of a fire that started at a gas station in the city of Bereaarrested by city police.
The incident happened last night when a heavy vehicle went out of control – possibly due to the driver releasing the parking brake – causing it to roll towards a gas station, dragging fuel pumps there. Fortunately, thanks to a special security system, the fire did not spread to the tanks, and no casualties were reported. Fire engines were called to the scene, cordoned off the area and extinguished the fire.
Police opened a criminal case against a 70-year-old man for arson through negligence and violation of traffic safety, also through negligence.
