He added that “efforts are being made to repair the damage and reconnect systems to the Internet as soon as possible,” while noting that the public and government agencies will not have access to the Internet until the damage is repaired.
“Government websites, email addresses cannot be used until these servers are reconnected,” he explained.
As a result, the servers have been taken down as a precaution to prevent further damage until the issue can be fixed and it can be determined if they have suffered any damage.
