The earliest of the year to exceed 30 degrees was in Gurahonca, Arad County, on March 21, 1974, with a maximum of +30.7 C. On the same day, extremely high temperatures were recorded in Săcuieni (Bihor), +29 C, and in Văradia de Mureș ( +28.7 C), ANM data show.

The year 1952 brought the highest temperature in the country in the third month of the year with a record of +32.8 C in Odobest. In addition, the end of March 1952 was very hot, on the same day of March 30, with recorded highs in the country that were not exceeded in March: (31.8 °C in Phocshan, 31.5 °C in Basarab, 31, 2 °C in Medgidia; 30.6 °C ºC in Sibiu; 30.5ºC in Hrivica; 30.4ºC in Konstanz; 30.1ºC in Cernavod

On March 31, 1968, it was +30.4 C in Negresti (Vaslui district).
