Gigi Bekali has been suspended from all football activities for 6 months

The match between FCSB and FC Botoşani, which took place on February 25 and ended 3-2, was marked by the presence of referee Cristina Trandafir in the VAR room.

This happened alongside the decision to red card Nana Antwi, and the FRF Disciplinary Committee severely punished Gigi Bekali for an uncontrolled slip of the referee.

In particular, Bekali received a 6-month ban from any football-related activity and three fines, two of 10,000 lei each, plus one of 50,000 lei (the last one to be paid).
