Neymar wants to return to Brazil with Santos in 2025

At the age of 32, Neymar signed a contract with Al Hilal in August 2023, which paid PSG 90 million euros.

He managed just five games in which he scored a goal before being injured in October 2023 in a match between Uruguay and Brazil, when he tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The Brazilian was present on Monday for the first leg of the Paulista Championship final between Santos and Palmeiras, won 1-0 by his former team.

This time Neymar was booed by the crowd and the crowd chanted his name, asking him to return to the form in which he debuted.

Before the match, the Carioca player went down to the Santos dressing room and addressed the players, also promising that in 2025, after the end of his contract with Al Hilal, he will return to the Brazilian championship, according to Marca.

The information caused real hysteria, and the football player did not want to confirm or deny the rumors while leaving the stadium.

After joining Santos’ youth team at the age of 11, Neymar made the step up to the big team in 2009, scoring 107 goals in 177 appearances.

Four years later, Barcelona paid 88 million euros.
