Subsequently, the French midfielder also played for St. Etienne B and Chateauroux B, in Cyprus – Paphos and Paralimniu, and in Albania – Vlaznia.

Mikael has been in Romania for almost two years. After Mercury, Chuka now lives in Sibiu.

“Life in Sibiu is extraordinary, I live in a wonderful city. Sibiu is very beautiful. We have a very close community, many colleagues live nearby, we communicate as families. Therefore, the atmosphere is very good. I like schnitzel. Romanian? Not Romanian? But very good.

People are crazy! (laughs) In a very good way. People are very nice. They understand that I’m a foreigner, that I can’t speak Romanian as well as I do, but we find a way to communicate. I didn’t know much about the country. Yes, I know the image of Romania outside… Ok, in France there are many people sitting on the side of the road asking for help, but I don’t assimilate them as Romanians. Romanians are very nice and treat me well,” he explained to Gsp.
