The euphoria of an emphatic victory with FCSB was erased before the play-offs, after president Daniel Nikoulaje and the leader of the Rapidists’ supporters Liviu Ungurian were elevated to the Failo pyro.

“Bocchu” Liviu Unguryan remains in custody – Dan Shuku, present among fans in Craiova
Detained for 30 days, the leader of the Rapid supporters, Liviu Ungurian, had hoped to be released, but on Thursday the judges decided to keep him in custody along with two other ultras, DigiSport reported.
If the Rapidists gallery was less vocal than usual during the home defeat against Farul, patron Dan Shuku called a meeting for the next match against Craiova University.
In addition, the main shareholder from Giulesti will travel with the fans and see the game from among them.
“Dear rapidists!
The most difficult period of the championship, but also the most beautiful – the playoffs – has already begun. And with that, as we expected, campaigns of disinformation, confusion, and division. We have already seen the result in the match with Farul.
The principles underlying the functioning of our club were, are and will remain unchanged. They do not change and will not change. Rapid exists for at least a million hearts that support and fight for it.
The most ardent supporters are the Rapidului gallery, which has long been recognized as the most united and strongest in Romania.
Our team is the only one in the country that is accompanied even on the road by a powerful and inspired gallery, regardless of which corner of the country the match is held. Our players are used to support and they really need it. This, if you like, is our distinguishing factor.
Since I invested in Rapid, I wanted to go on some trips with the gallery so that I could experience the atmosphere, the feeling and the enthusiasm of the guys in person. As I was delighted to receive an invitation from those in the gallery to go with them, and I thank them for it, I see no better opportunity than Saturday’s match against Olten. A tough match against a full-fledged team that aims for the same thing as us: to win!
I appreciated and really appreciate the passion with which the boys cheer on their team, their willingness to leave their families hundreds of kilometers away, traveling day and night, often in harsh conditions.
However, recently their passion is not only not encouraged, but even goes through a period of guilt, which we cannot agree with.
Wanting to create an additional show to the one on the field, the guys from the gallery also resorted to pyrotechnic materials, which by law cannot be used in the stadium. Yes, the law must be respected, and these materials under certain conditions can become dangerous for viewers. It would certainly be nice if they stopped using them in the future and we could fully enforce the law.
However, I am convinced that the use of these pyrotechnic devices should not in any case be a form of insubordination punishable by such a severe measure as deprivation of liberty.
Another important principle is that the revenue generated by the club from tickets, product sales, advertising, TV rights, etc., supplemented by the money coming from shareholders, must be fully used to build the team and the club from an ever stronger, more competitive one.
I guarantee you that there are no individuals or companies “connected” to Rapidu accounts who will pocket the money you pay the club.
I conclude these lines by inviting everyone who can to join the gallery of Saturday’s journey from Kraiova. The team needs us! Speedsters know better how to cheer up their boys!” – told Dan Shuka.
In the second stage of the Super League playoffs, Rapid will travel to the Ion Oblemenko Stadium for a match with the University of Craiova, which is scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 p.m.
