Boxing legend Mike Tyson watched the match between Victoria Azarenka (34 years old, 32 WTA) and Yulia Putintseva (29 years old, 68 WTA) in the quarterfinals of the Miami Open.
However, during the match, Tyson ran into a little-known rule. During one of the breaks, he left his place on the stand, and when he wanted to return, he was stopped by a steward. Reason? Spectators who have left their seats cannot return while the players are participating in the exchange of balls.
Thus, “Iron Mike” had to wait for another break before returning to his seat.
Then Mike Tyson could calmly watch the victory of the Belarusian over Yulia Putintseva. Azarenka won 7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-3 and advanced to the semifinals.
