Napoli interested in Philippe Otele – Brighton, Brentford, Club Brugge and Trabzonspor follow in the footsteps of the Nigerian

CFR Cluj has a chance to deliver another strong blow to the transfer market.

With 13 goals and 6 assists in the current Romanian Super League season, Filip Otele is attracting big names in European football.

After Brighton were interested in his services, and Gruja’s club management also rejected Trabzonspor’s offer, the 24-year-old is now Napoli’s turn.

Brentford and Club Brugge are also monitoring the situation of the player, who is currently valued at 1.5 million euros, and are preparing offers for the summer.

Nelutsu Varga, the owner of CFR Cluj, stated during the winter that Otele would leave Gruja only for a minimum of 4 million euros.

Otele also played for Wolveston and Zalgiris in his career, and in January 2022 he was transferred to UTA Arad for free.

He played 58 matches for Aradenia, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists.
