Danylo Medvedev (4 ATP) respected his status as the favorite and reached the semi-finals of the ATP tournament in Miami.

The reigning champion needed one hour and 42 minutes to defeat Nicolas Jarry (23 ATP).

Medvedev easily won the first set 6-2, but had some emotions in the second set, which required a tiebreak.

In the semifinals, Daniil Medvedev will meet one of the most prepared players at the moment, Yannick Sinner (3 ATP). The Italian, who is coached by Darren Cahill, advanced to the semi-finals after overcoming Tomas Machak (60 ATP) in the quarters.
