The match between CF Reboceros de la Piedad and Petroleros de Salamanca was interrupted after goalkeeper Axel Quiros punched an opponent in the face when his team was leading 2-0.
With the score 2-0 in favor of Petroleros, in the 74th minute, Quiros was sent off after bringing down an opponent.
The players of “La Piedada” rushed to the aid of their colleague and hit the goalkeeper, who was then given medical aid in an ambulance.
Play in the Serie A Premier League (Mexico’s third division) has been suspended.
