The national football teams continue their preparatory matches for the final tournament of Euro-2024, which will be held in Germany. Romania’s future rivals Belgium and Slovakia could not win.

Ireland – Belgium 0-0 / Slovakia – Austria 0-2 – goal scored in the 6th second

Divided into Group E of the final Euro-2024 tournament, Slovakia hosted Austria in a friendly match that ended with a score of 0:2.

The future opponent of the tricolors led from the start, after the goal of Christoph Baumgartner in the sixth second.

Starting from the center of the pitch, the RB Leipzig midfielder bypassed two players and shot from 25 yards, beating Dubravka.

It was the fastest goal in football history, equaling the one scored by Lukas Podolski in a match between Germany and Ecuador 11 years ago.

In the 83rd minute, Austria doubled the advantage thanks to Andreas Weimann.

Belgium also failed to win away to Ireland in a 0-0 draw with the hosts also missing Evan Ferguson’s 23rd-minute penalty.
