The team from Bystrica went directly to the group stage and went undefeated in Group C with the results: 26-23 and 29-26 against MKS Lublin, 35-27 and 33-24 against HSG Bensheim, 19-19 and 34-29 against Neptun Nantes .
In the quarter-round match against Mosonmagyarovari, KC won 32-30.
“Dunera Brail” also reached the quarterfinals of the Europa League, which will play the return match against “Podravka” on Sunday (32-26 in the round). In the other two quarters, matches are played between Thuringer HC – Storhamar and Neptunes Nantes – Sola HC.
The final four will take place on May 11-12 in Graz.
