While serving in the third game of the match against Zverev, Carlos was attacked by a swarm of bees.

The Iberian first tried to pull them out with a rocket, but after being bitten, he hid to escape.

“I saw a few bees around, but I thought there were only a few, not many. But I saw the sky, and thousands were flying, some sticking to my hair, others coming to me. It was crazy. I tried to stay away from them, but it was impossible,” said Carlos Alcaraz.

The match was interrupted for more than an hour and a half, during which time a beekeeper was called to solve the problem.

Alcaraz easily won the match after just one hour and 19 minutes of play, 6-3, 6-1.
