Elias Charalambous and the changes that decided the match between FCSB and Voluntari

With Mikulescu, Radaslavescu and Alhassan sent off early in the second half in place of Felipe, Popescu and Lixandru, FCSB looked very different against the Voluntari.

Coach Elias Charalambous spoke of the change in attitude that made the difference in the game that put FCSB back ten points behind Rapid.

“I told you it would be a tough match. We started badly, conceded a goal. We spoke to them at halftime to change things up. We became much more aggressive and the attitude changed.

Today was about attitude. The biggest problem of the first half was the lack of aggression.

I changed a few things. We need players who make a difference. We need to recover, there is a tough game ahead. All the changes were good. Many players who come off the bench are game changers.

We want to share this victory with Pantea. Petrolul Ploiesti will be very difficult. I said it would be difficult. Many raised their eyebrows, but that’s how it was.” – said Elias Charalambousreports DigiSport.

In the penultimate stage of the regular season, FKSHB will meet Petrolul Ploiesti at home on Sunday at 20:30.
