A multiple Grand Slam winner, the Scot suffered another loss this season as Murray beat Hugo Humbert (ATP No. 18 and Dubai No. 5 seed) 6-2, 6-4. The match lasted an hour and 30 minutes, and it was mostly dominated by the French player.

The long-awaited qualitative jump in Andy’s game (67th place in the world ranking) is expected, to the disappointment of his fans.

Having reached the age of 36, Murray has a negative record this year: two wins and five losses.
