UTA Arad have 13 points this year and are in contention for the Superliga play-offs, and announced the departure of Godberg Barry Cooper on Monday.

Godberg Cooper left UTA Arad

After arriving at UTA from Kindia Tirgovishte, Cooper was transferred to Tobol Kostanay (Kazakhstan).

“The 26-year-old forward played 23 matches for the red and white shirt, scored three goals and provided two assists,” UTA reports.

Over the three stages of the regular season, the team coached by Mircea Rednik is tied on points with FC Hermannstadt (6th place, last playoff), but better than Sibiu in head-to-head matches (the main tie-break criterion).

The next matches for UTA are against “Rapid” (Bucharest), “Kraiova 1948” and “Dynamo” (Bucharest).
