Filippo Falco, new player of CFR Cluj

Trying to get as close as possible to the FCSB leader, CFR Cluj made another transfer after the decisive victory over Dynamo.

Filippo Falco, an attacking midfielder who has made almost 200 appearances in Italy’s top two leagues, will be in training at Adrian Mutu from Monday.

“We are happy to announce that Filippo Falco has become a new player in our team!

Growing up in Lecce’s academy, Falco made 366 career appearances, scoring 55 goals and providing 51 assists. In Italy, he played almost 200 games in the first two levels, where he wore the shirts of Bologna, Cagliari, Lecce, Benevento, Cesena, Perugia and Pescara, among others.

At the beginning of 2021, the attacking midfielder arrived in the first league of Serbia, to Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, for which he played 36 matches, scoring six goals and providing four assists. Together with this team, Falko became the champion of Serbia twice, winning two Cups!

We welcome him to Gruia and to the best of luck with the CFR Cluj!” – Transylvanians reported on the official website.

Filippo Falco, 32, is valued at €700,000.
