Yakub Mensik beat Andrii Rublev in the quarterfinals at ATP Doha

Jakub Mensik pulled off another surprise at the ATP tournament in Doha, knocking out Alejandro Davydovich Fokin (24 ATP) and Andy Murray (50 ATP).

The athlete, who is ranked 116th in the ATP ranking, defeated the main favorite Andriy Rublev (5th ATP) in the quarters.

2022 Australian Open junior finalist Mensik took one hour and 38 minutes to secure a place at the semi-final stage in Doha.

Here Jakub Mensik will meet the winner of the duel between Hugo Humbert (18 ATP) and Gael Monfils (68 ATP).

The Qatar Open is an ATP 250 tournament and will be held from February 19 to 24. The game is played on a hard surface and the total prize pool is $1,395,875. The champion of the title is Daniil Medvedev.
