
PAOK were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Greek Cup after suffering a dramatic 6-5 penalty shootout loss to Panathinaikos after 2-2 on aggregate.

On Wednesday evening, the second leg of the Greek Cup semi-final between Panathinaikos and PAOK took place.
After a 1-0 defeat in the tour match, Rezvan Lucescu’s team fought back and managed to open the scoring in the 72nd minute through Andrii Zhivkovich.
The match needed extra time and in the 105th minute PAOK scored once again thanks to a goal by Tomas Kedzora.
The drama reached a high level when Panathinaikos scored in the ninth minute of extra time to send Limnios into a penalty shootout.
There, although the hosts conceded first through Sporar, Rezvan Lucescu’s men were overwhelmed by the emotional strain built up during the game, with Despodov, Ozdoev, Yonni and Samatta also missing from the penalty spot.
