Leverkusen took another step towards the league title with a convincing 3-0 win over Bayern Munich in the 21st round of the Bundesliga.

Leverkusen’s perfect unbeaten season continues with yet another Bundesliga victory in front of the main crowd.

The students, who are coached by Xabi Alonso, opened the scoring in the 18th minute thanks to Stanisic, and went into the break with a minimal advantage.

The home team struck in the fifth minute of extra time thanks to Frimpong.

With 17 wins and four draws this season, Leverkusen have climbed to the top of the Bundesliga table with 55 points, five more than Bayern Munich and 15 ahead of Stuttgart and Dortmund.
