Manchester City 2-0 Everton – Erling Haaland scored almost three months later

Pep Guardiola’s side completely dominated the match against Everton at the Etihad Stadium, but only scored late on.

Erling Haaland decided the fate of the game with two goals in the 71st and 85th minutes.

The long-injured Norwegian forward scored his first goals in 2024 after an almost three-month layoff.

This leaves Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table with 52 points and they will be waiting for mistakes from Liverpool and Arsenal.
