Daria Kasatkina reached the final of the WTA 500 tournament in Abu Dhabi, which became the 15th in her career, dramatically beating the Brazilian Beatrice Haddad Maia.

Daria Kasatkina in the WTA Abu Dhabi Finals – Victory in the deciding set tie-break

Kasatkina (7th seed at the start of the competition in the United Arab Emirates) won the first set 6-3, but Haddad Maia (6th seed) came back to win 6-4 in the second set.

Both players managed to break in the deciding set, but Daria was more focused on the tie-break and won 7-2.
