Howard Jacobs: “Our arguments have been heard”

Simona Halep was heard from Wednesday to Friday at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne in the doping scandal with Roxadustat at the US Open 2022, in which she is involved.

Our athlete received a four-year disqualification from tennis, but she resorted to the last and only way to hope for a favorable verdict in her case.

Simona also made her first statements after leaving the hearing, and her lawyer Howard Jacobs also commented on the process in which he represents the former WTA leader.

“I have nothing to add. You talked to Simona. We had a long hearing and we will wait for the outcome. We can’t say anything more. Our arguments were heard.

We will have to wait for the final decision. I have to wait, I can’t say anything more. I don’t know how long we will have to wait for the final verdict.” – he said, reports sport.ro.
