PSG win 2-1 in Strasbourg – Luis Enrique: ‘In 12 days we can all die’

The match started with a penalty, which Mbappe missed (‘6), but the Parisian star took revenge and opened the scoring (’31).

Mbappe provided the decisive assist for Asensio’s goal (’49), and the hosts reduced the difference thanks to Bakwa (’68).

At the end of the game, coach Luis Enrique was asked if he was nervous ahead of the Champions League Round of 16 match against Real Sociedad (February 14).

“In 12 days we could all be dead. Well, I hope not. But I’m not interested in the Champions League. I am interested in Brest, cup match. There is no future in football, especially at the highest level. Brest. Cup match. The final is for us” – Luis Enrique.

PSG’s next matches are against Brest (February 7, 1/8 finals of the French Cup), Lille (February 10, 21st stage of Ligue 1) and “Real Sociedad” (February 14, 1/8 finals of the Champions League).
