According to the quoted source, Hamilton signed a contract with Mercedes last summer, which guarantees him an annual salary of 60 million euros.
The multiple F1 world champion initialed the deal with Ferrari on Thursday, with Gazzetta dello Sport and La Stampa noting that it will be “only” €50m per season.
Hamilton will drive Ferrari single-seaters from the 2025 season.
