CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation) has given the go-ahead for the Copa Libertadores football matches to be held at the stadium in the Bolivian city of El Alto.

Villa Ingenio Stadium in El Alto, Bolivia is located at an altitude of 4083 meters above sea level.

We should immediately note that the arena where the Always Ready team plays its home matches is located at an altitude of 4083 meters.

According to CONMEBOL’s decision, the match between Always Ready and Sporting Cristal (Peru) will take place on February 20 at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters above sea level, at the “Villa Ingenio” stadium, reports AFP.

The stadium was inaugurated in 2017 and has a capacity of 25,000. The game to be played here is part of the second round of the Copa Libertadores.
