FC Voluntari release Ilie Poenara and Marina Dune – Ilfoven on the brink of a draw

Ilfovets scored only one point in the last four stages of the Super League and entered the playoffs after 23 stages.

FC Voluntari’s management decided on Wednesday to part ways with Ilie Poenaru, the legal affairs coach, and Marin Dune, the director of documents, through a message published on social media.

“FC Voluntari announces the termination of the contractual relationship by mutual consent with coach Marin Dune and his staff, which consists of Ilie Poenaru (second coach), Gabriel Vasiliou (goalkeeping coach) and Paul Seushan (second coach).

Installed at the start of this season, Marin Dune has made 23 official appearances in Ligue 1, registering a record of 6 wins, 7 draws and 10 losses during that span.

He qualified our team for the quarter-finals of the Romanian Cup, where FC Voluntari will meet FC Universitatia Craiova 1948 in April.

The FC Voluntari club thanks them for the work done during this period and wishes them success in the future,” the club said.

In the 24th round of the Superleague, FC Voluntari will play at home against Hermandtadt on Monday from 17:00.
