Mikaella Shiffrin after the fall in Cortina d’Ampezzo: “Very grateful that it’s not worse”

The athlete with the most victories in the history of the World Cup in alpine skiing said that the injury is not serious, but noted that her leg hurts quite a lot.

“Thank you all for your support and well wishes. I’m taking it step by step for now and will share more information or updates as I learn more. Thank you very much, it’s not worse, but now the leg is very swollen.

I won’t be skiing for the rest of this weekend and I won’t be skiing in Kronplatz. It is difficult to say what will happen next. I need some time to discuss this with my team and see how things look in the coming days! Thank you all” – Mikaella Shiffrin on Instagram.
