The Hungarian men’s handball team took fifth place at the European Championship after narrowly defeating Slovenia 23-22.

Hungary – Slovenia 23-22 (12-13), in the match for 5th place at the European Handball Championship among men

After a game that was decided in the final minutes, Hungary defeated Slovenia and secured fifth place at the European Men’s Handball Championship.

The first half started in favor of the Slovenians, who went into the break with a one-goal advantage, although Hungary equalized the game.

The second half brought all of Slovenia to the wheel, and the end was a fairy tale.

Leading by two goals, the Hungarians scored three times and turned the tide of the match.
